Free Workshops

Workshops are available throughout Vermont for each of the six Self-Management Programs. These workshops provide a supportive atmosphere for participants to focus on building skills to manage their conditions by sharing experiences and providing mutual support. All of the programs are free to any Vermonter who meets the program requirements. Find a workshop that works for you.

Chronic Disease Self-Management is a program that focuses on problems that are common to individuals dealing with any chronic condition such as pain management, nutrition, exercise, medication use, emotional health and communicating with health care providers. Chronic Disease Self-Management is a workshop given over 2 ½ hours, once a week, for 6 weeks.

Diabetes Management is a program for people living with Diabetes and focuses on techniques to deal with symptoms as well as emotional health, exercise, nutrition and communicating effectively with health care providers.
